Fall Planting

The Fall is a great time to plant! The soil temperatures are warmer creating an ideal environment to encourage root growth, and as our days start to get shorter and temperatures start to drop (especially at night) plants dedicate their time and energy on establishing roots for the winter instead of leaves and flowers.

Here are just a few things to remember when planting this fall:

• Make sure you to amend the soil and use Fertilome Root Stimulator when planting

• Remember that newly planting (and sometimes established) trees, shrubs, and perennials need to be water throughout the winter. A gallon or two in late November and December on any day in the 40's or above will do the trick!

• Come mid April apply another application of Fertilome Root Stimulator!
